In awesome news, I just sort of became famous...for a few hours anyway.

I've been doing product reviews for a company called Influenster and today they featured one of my blogs on their Facebook page!



Can you see that small picture in the About section? That's a thumbnail of my best friend Sarah. On a Facebook page with 83,885 followers. And her photo is there because I blogged about my new favorite hair elastic and how not to wear hair elastics on your wrists for photo shoots. And Influenster posted this:



And then they linked to my product review!

So I'm feeling a little famous. If you're here from Influenster, welcome! I hope you get lots of free products to try, too!

The new me!

So I've decided I need a new hobby and blogging is going to be it. There are lots of bloggers who earn a decent living blogging and that's cool--if I end up making money by blogging then of course I'm on board--but mostly I'm looking for a community of fellow writers, moms, and photographers to share in my experiences. I don't really know what I'm doing so I'm just going to wing it and write about anything and everything. I signed up with Influenster a fun survey slash product review site, and so hopefully I'll be able to try out some fun stuff to blog about.
