Preschool runs on a bell system. We wait outside until the church bells ring and the kids go in, and then we pick them up when the bells ring two-and-a-half hours later. It's this trigger though, the bells ringing, for me to get a certain song stuck in my head after every pick up and drop off.
Here is Dylan singing that song--I Hear the Bells by Mike Doughty--after school today. It's one of his favorites and I like it too but I think I might get tired of it by December if I keep getting it stuck in my head so often.
Dylan is currently drumming around the living room to his favorite scene in Rango. Kate is sleeping right through the noise. I'm beyond exhausted from being awake all night with Dylan the night before last and up every hour with Katie last night. But the weekends are for catching up on sleep. And it's almost the weekend. Insert smiley face.
