The sun came out today for the first time in a really long while and since Dylan was up until midnight last night and woke up before dawn he nearly slept through the beautiful weather. And then we spent an insane amount of time in my doctor's waiting room after he finally woke up from his nap. By the time we made it to the park the sun had disappeared once more but we still had a total blast.
Dylan ran around every inch of that park. I love that he is getting old enough where I don't have to watch him like a hawk each time he climbs a stair or goes too close to an edge on the playground equipment. His favorite will always be the swings, he loves to yell, "I'm touchin' the mooooooooon!"
My mom took this one of the two (and a half) of us trying to fit on a swing together.
We set up Katie's changing table tonight. Dylan was pretty adorable trying to help us, handing us screws and using screwdrivers to mimic what we were doing. He earned two marshmallows for being such a great big brother and helping to build his sister's table. He went to bed a very proud boy.
