2 Months Post Op

Here is my scar 6 days after my thyroidectomy:



And here it is today, almost 2 months post op:



I'm extremely sensitive and aware of my neck these days. I feel like it's still an open wound, even though it's healed over, and I don't touch it much except to apply vitamin E lotion. The area hurts more now than it did right after surgery. Out of no where my scar gets sore as if I have a giant paper cut. But it's healing and I can't complain.
